My Creative Life Writing programme sits at the meeting point of life coaching and creative mentoring. It’s for those who feel that their creativity and their life are not separate  — and that when one is blocked, all other areas are impacted. Creative Life Writing is about clarity and permission to create a life that feels vibrant and full.

For nearly two decades, writing has been the way I’ve listened to humanity.

For  eighteen years I’ve worked inside the creative writing world — mentoring writers globally, working with corporate clients, lecturing at university level, holding space for those trying to make sense of their lives through language. I’ve sat opposite thousands of people as they spoke about ambition, doubt, exhaustion, longing, grief, hope. Often not knowing that what they were really asking was: How do I live my life honestly? This work grew quietly from that listening.

In this life coaching programme we use writing as a living practice. Not to polish a voice, but to hear it. Not to perform insight, but to arrive at it. We work with the real material of your life — the stuck places, the transitions, the quiet ambitions, the unnamed griefs — and we do so gently, rigorously, without spectacle. This is not about becoming someone else. It’s about returning to the language of who you are and your life’s purpose.

  • This is a 1:1 creative life coaching programme for people who think and feel through language, and who are navigating change, uncertainty, or creative stuckness.

It sits between life coaching and creative mentoring and uses writing as the main tool for clarity, decision-making, and self-trust.

This is not therapy and not a writing course, yet it is something that explores both these mediums in a unique coaching programme.

  • Each session is shaped around where you actually are, but typically I work with:

    • Naming what’s really going on (often beneath the surface story)

    • Using writing as a tool — to clarify and explore

    • Identifying patterns, blocks, and unspoken beliefs

    • Making space for grief, desire, and hope

    • Supporting decisions that feel aligned

    • Rebuilding trust in your own voice and timing

I listen closely. I reflect back what I hear. I ask careful questions and the writing helps slow things down so something honest and new can emerge.
